Ichiro's walk-off homer saves Felix's gem
With the Mariners one out from defeat and Felix Hernandez's complete game seemingly gone to waste, Ichiro Suzuki delivered his first career walk-off homer, stunning Yankees closer Mariano Rivera with a two-run shot to right to give AL Cy Young hopeful Hernandez his 16th victory.
Ichiro was 4 for 5 with 1 Run and 2 RBI. His batting average is .357.

Ichiro's walk-off hit ends 14-inning thriller
Ichiro Suzuki's second walk-off hit of the season, a line-drive single into right-center field off Sox right-hander Scott Linebrink, scored Ryan Langerhans from second base with the winning run.
It was the Mariners' 12th walk-off win of the season, tying a franchise record, and their 76th win overall. Ichiro ran all the way into center field before being caught by his teammates.
Ichiro was 2 for 6 with 1 RBI. His batting average is .353.

Ichiro gets 200 hits in 9th straight season as M's shut out Rangers
After he reached 200 hits for the ninth straight season during the second game of a doubleheader, Ken Griffey Jr. picked up his slight teammate, slung him over his shoulder and carried him to the showers, where teammates awaited with a beer bath.
"To get to enjoy this with these teammates I have, and especially that guy over there makes me very joyful," Ichiro said.
Ichiro beat out an infield single to become the first player in major league history with at least 200 in nine straight seasons as the Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 5-0 to split a doubleheader after losing the opener 7-2.
In his second at-bat of the nightcap, Suzuki hit a slow roller to shortstop Elvis Andrus, beating the throw for No. 200 and driving in a run for a 2-0 lead.
Ichiro was 1 for 5 with 1 RBI. His batting average is .362.
